Jason N. Goldberg
Jason N. Goldberg, CPA, is a Partner at Gettry Marcus CPA, P.C. As a member of the firm’s Tax Department, he is responsible for managing tax related matters for clients in various industries including wholesale, retail, manufacturing and real estate. Additionally, Mr. Goldberg’s clients also include high net worth individuals, where he manages their day-to-day issues.
In his role at the firm, Mr. Goldberg focuses on all aspects of tax services, including compliance, advisory and planning in the preparation and review of tax returns, including individual, partnership, corporation and trust returns. Mr. Goldberg has represented clients before the IRS and State taxing authorities for income and state tax audits. Additionally, he is knowledgeable in tax issues related to real estate, including like kind exchanges, basis step-ups, tenancy in common structure, and cost segregations. Mr. Goldberg also oversees accounting services for his clients.
In addition to his work at the firm, in his free time, Mr. Goldberg is an integral member of the firm’s corporate responsibility initiative – focused on the Sunrise Association, where he volunteers his time to benefit Sunrise Day Camp – the first and only day camp in the world for children with cancer and their siblings. Mr. Goldberg also serves as treasurer of his Synagogue.
Mr. Goldberg is a graduate of Yeshiva University where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science in accounting. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
