Lester Weingarten
Lester Weingarten is a Partner in the Tax Department at Gettry Marcus CPA, P.C. Lester specializes in providing income tax and estate/gift tax services as well as consulting services to businesses and individuals.
Lester has advised clients on a wide range of tax issues, including compliance; estate and trust planning; transfer taxes; foreign tax issues; partnership structuring, operations, and terminations; controversy work; tax provisions; mergers and acquisitions, and due diligence. He also works with clients in the firm’s High Net Worth Group and Family Office Group. In addition, he is also involved in several specialty areas that include investment partnerships; accounting and administration for estates and trusts; aircraft acquisition and tax reporting requirements; charitable giving, and exempt organizations.
Lester is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), and a retired member of the New York State Bar Association.
