Robin Rokuson, CPA, TEP is a Partner at Gettry Marcus CPA, P.C. and a senior member of the firm’s Tax Department. She provides tax and accounting services to businesses in various industries, as well as, trust, estate, gift, and tax planning services to high-net-worth individuals. She works on tax litigation matters and has represented insurance companies and other CPA firms. She has recently been involved with many FBAR voluntary disclosures.
Robin has been instrumental in developing the diversified tax services that Gettry Marcus offers its clientele. This includes specialties in flow-through entity tax matters, multi-state taxation, and judicial accountings. She supervises and trains the professional staff on tax preparation and tax-related software programs as well as lectures on tax law changes.
Robin is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Estate Planning Council of Nassau County, and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. In 2012 she was selected by Long Island Business News for inclusion on its list of “Who’s Who in Professional Women” and was named as one of the 2012 Most Powerful Women in Accounting by CPA Practice Advisor.
Robin earned her BA from Brooklyn College and her MBA from St. John’s University.
