Brian S. Cohn
Brian S. Cohn, CPA, is a senior manager at Gettry Marcus CPA, P.C. Mr. Cohn has over 25 years of accounting, auditing, and financial advisement experience in a variety of industries including real estate, medical, retail, and wholesale distribution. His real estate experience includes auditing, tax work, consulting, and financial management to cooperatives, condominiums, and homeowner associations. He regularly presents financial statements to shareholders of his co-op and condominium clients. Mr. Cohn is also active in the training of junior staff on firm procedures and various computer programs.
Prior to joining Gettry Marcus, Mr. Cohn began his career working at accounting firms where he prepared financial statements, monthly reporting, and budgets for clients across a diverse range of businesses. Mr. Cohn received his B.S. and MBA in accounting through a joint program from SUNY Oswego’s School of Business. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He also participates in meetings for the Real Estate Committee of the Nassau County Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
