Gettry Marcus Announces the Addition of Three New Professionals

Gettry Marcus CPA, P.C. is pleased to announce the addition of three new professionals to the firm.

Robert LaSpina, CPA, a resident of Bellmore, New York, is a Manager in the Accounting and Audit Group, and is based out of the Firm’s Woodbury, New York headquarters. He has almost 20 years of experience performing audits, reviews and compilations of private companies in various niche industries, including real estate, food, and apparel to name a few. He will be working with the firm’s Real Estate Group. Prior to joining the firm, LaSpina was an Audit Manager at Buchbinder Tunick & Co. LaSpina is a graduate of St. Johns University, receiving a B.S. (cum laude).

Jeffrey Lefcort, CPA, a resident of New York City, is a Senior Accountant with over 5 years of experience and is based out of the Firm’s New York City office. Prior to joining the firm, Lefcort was employed by Elliot Horowitz & Co. Lefcort is a graduate of Indiana University where he was twice acknowledged as a peer tutor of the month.

Jared Solensten, a resident of Smithtown, New York, is a staff accountant at their Firm’s Woodbury, New York headquarters. Prior to joining the firm as a full-time employee, Solensten was an intern at Gettry Marcus while he completed his Master’s Degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Old Westbury, where he received a Certificate of Academic Achievement. Additionally, Solensten, was awarded a B.M. (Bachelors of Music) degree from the University of Connecticut as a magna cum laude.
