Gettry Marcus Rolls Out Soft Skills Training

Gettry Marcus CPA, P.C. announced the rollout of a firm-wide soft skills training program, as part of their “Best CareerPlace Initiative.” This initiative was developed, as part of the Firm’s strategic planning for 2014, in order to attract and develop the best and brightest employees, as the firm continues its transformation to reach its goal of becoming a “Firm of the Future, Today.”

At an all-day staff meeting on May 22, 2014, Adam J. Krim, a certified professional coach and motivational speaker from DRiVE Consulting, based in Westchester County and New York City, presented the first soft skills training program to Gettry Marcus. DRiVE Consulting’s approach, based on the Core Energy Construct developed by the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), focuses on facilitating new ways of thinking. Adam helps his clients turn obstacles into opportunities in order to achieve greater long-term happiness.

Gettry Marcus has instituted a training calendar, where employees can select coursework to enhance their professional and personal growth. Examples of programs that are scheduled for personal development include: technical training, organic training, self-study webinars, marketing and networking.
