Rokuson Named a Top 50 Influential Women

Gettry Marcus CPA, P.C., announced today that partner Robin Rokuson has been selected as one of Long Island Business News’ Top 50 Most Influential Women in Business. This award recognizes the Island’s top women professionals in business, education, government and the not-for-profit fields for their business acumen, mentoring and community involvement. Ms. Rokuson, was inducted at an evening awards celebration on Thursday, October 17, 2013, at the Crest Hollow Country Club, in Woodbury, New York.

In her role at the firm, Robin Rokuson, CPA, TEP is Partner-In-Charge of the tax department at Gettry Marcus CPA, P.C. She has over 30 years of experience providing tax and accounting services to businesses in various industries. She also provides trust, estate, gift, and tax planning services to high-net worth individuals. She works on tax litigation matters and has represented insurance companies and other CPA firms.

Ms. Rokuson, is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Estate Planning Council of Nassau County, and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. In 2012, she was selected by Long Island Business News for inclusion on its list of “Who’s Who in Professional Women” and was named as one of the 2012 Most Powerful Women in Accounting by CPA Practice Advisor.
