Lee Ferber, CPA, is partner-in-charge of Gettry Marcus’ Business Advisory and M&A Transaction Advisory Service Groups and Co-Chairs the firm’s Health Care Consulting Group. He has been a Partner with Gettry Marcus CPA, P.C. since1999. As partner-in-charge of the firm’s M&A Transaction Advisory Service Group, he works collaboratively with business owners and their management teams, advising in all phases of the sale of their business, from early stage planning through final transaction execution.
Panelists
Allan H. Cohen is an M&A attorney and the Office Managing Partner at Nixon Peabody’s Long Island Office. He represents a variety of companies, ranging from large public entities engaging in mergers and acquisitions, to mid-sized closely-held and family-owned businesses, to technology-based startups organizing new business ventures and raising capital. Allan focuses on maintaining a general business law practice, adept at handling his clients’ varied business needs and providing the type of outside counsel that businesses would expect from an in-house general counsel. He dedicates much of his practice to mergers and acquisitions, including buy-side work for public and private companies, and sell-side work for closely held and family-owned businesses. His M&A transactions involve a wide range of industries, including health care, medical device, life sciences, consumer products, and insurance.
Mark Gaeto is Managing Director of Falcon Captial Partners, LLC. Mark has over 30 years of experience in the information technology industry as an owner, senior executive, sales executive, investor and advisor to leading software and IT service companies. He has helped business owners and CEOs with exit planning, strategic visioning, go-to-market strategies, mergers and acquisitions, and technology transfer. Mark was a management consultant and principal with PRTM’s sales and marketing effectiveness practice, where he worked with Fortune 1000 companies to design corporate vision and strategies that improve customer-facing operations. He also helped build and launch PRTM’s Private Equity practice, where he worked with PE firms to perform pre-deal due diligence and post-deal operational improvements.
